ABC Wednesday: "F"

This weeks letter is the letter "F". My favorite "F" is my friends, this one is for you D (I miss you). Since I am in this picture it means I didn't take it, so I give the credit to Derek, my husband :)

Next I have Ferron, Utah. We went here on our summer geology field course to learn about the sandstones. There are some really pretty areas near Ferron, you just have to know where to look (The Wedge).

Finally we have fun. It is really fun jumping off the side of the Great Sand Dunes. Just make sure you don't get any sand in your camera :)

Check out more letter "F" blogs over at mrsnesbitt's place
and show them some love.

Friends are always nice to have! The sand jumping looks fun but seems to me like it would hurt.

Loved the picture of Ferron.Looks like such a scenic place.Your friend should be honored that you share a picture of the two of you together.Looks like lots of fun on the sand dune.
I enjoyed your pnacake breakfast blog.Hope you get back home for the next pancake breakfast. My youngest daughter was in the high school band.I remember the different fund raisers. The spaghetti dinner was always well attended.

Of course, friends are probably the best F that has been shown on any of the participants' blogs, but I mus tocmment on your geology trip. I love camping in southern Utah and I am not even a geologist. The scenery and natural history there is so amazing, and I can imagine how great it is to be truly studying the geoplgy there, not just rubbernecking like we do.
