Science and Engineering Art Fair

Last week I entered 4 of my photos in the Science and Engineering Art Fair at Northwestern.  The fair was set up to show the creative minds of scientists and engineers.  Most of the time I think my creative brain wins out over my logical brain.  Anyways, I was so excited to find out that I won 2nd place for the photography section of the fair.  I am so excited because it is my first time winning anything, or entering anything, for my photography.  It makes me think that I may actually have a chance to start a photography business someday.  Below are the 4 pieces I chose to enter.  The sunset photo was the one that won!

TTV and a Winner!!!

The hubby got my a Kodak Duaflex IV for passing my qualifiers. I am still getting used to shooting through it, but it is so much fun. If you want to learn more about shooting "Through the Viewfinder", here are some places to check out:

Be careful, it is somewhat addicting. Now I need it to stop being cold so I can go outside and take some pictures, brrrr.

Pay It Forward Contest

I entered a contest on Kelly's Blog, and I WON!!! She sent me these beautiful glass ornaments. I was going to hang them on my Christmas tree, but Kelly gave me the great idea to make them into a wind chime. I LOVE them. Thank you so much Kelly.


edit: So, all you have to do is leave me a comment.
