Odd Shot Monday

SO, I pretty much have the smartest blog friends ever. You guys are amazing at this game. So, a lot of people said that last weeks photo looked like glass, and you are right. That picture as samples of orange soil from the moon, taken through a microscope. These particular ones were from Apollo 17. What happened is when the moon was still in its early stage it most likely underwent some kind of volcanic activity. These spheres formed from the explosion of moon magma that turned into spheres due to the lack of gravity and an atmosphere on the moon. The black ones are spheres that have started to crystallize.
