SkyWatch

That's right ladies, he's all mine :) Did I ever tell you about the time he thought it would be a good idea to swing as high as he could and then jump off. This particular swing was super tall, taller than he had thought, so when he finally jumped off he fell a lot farther than he had anticipated. Then, for the next couple of days, he complained about how his back hurt (the old man). I just laughed, told ya so. Who needs kids when you have one of these running around :)

For more sky watch photos, and to add your own, head on over to SkyWatch Friday.

A big Thank You to all of my skywatch friends who commented last week. Sorry I didn't get back to everyone due to my late night escapades in Las Vegas, but I really do appreciate everything you had to say.

I am surprised he didn't break a leg or worse. I remember when I was in school, during World War II, the kids would do that and fall out and then the swing seat, made out of wood, would bang them somewhere in the head.

Nice photography.

He's lucky, Kim. Just remind him that life is all about swings and roundabouts!

Really liked your previous shot, too.

I refrained from looking up the nose to concetrate on this one. Reminds me of the flying bike shot i did for skywatch. I ike this it's very creative for the subject.

In high school, some of my guy classmates would do just that -- stand in the swing and swing as high as they can and then they will jump. Quite a risky way to have fun, but boys will be boys. =)

Great shot. you really captured his happiness!

I have two Sky Watch pictures this week (completely different from one another) and are posted in these blogs:
Jenn Was Here and Shutter Happy Moments. Please hop on any of them if you have some time. Happy weekends!

That was an EXCELLENT choice for skywatch. Well done!

Men can be such whiners about aches and pains. Blurgh!

I did something similar and winded myself for the first time - thought I was dying.
