Perseverance

My mother in law found this small little tree growing out of a rock along the shores of Lake Erie. He was different, he was going against the grain, he was trying to persevere. I liked him.

For more SkyWatch Friday head on over here, and share your beautiful skies as well.

It looks like a little willow. I bet it'll survive. ;-)

Thanks for your comment on the SWF blog. A shelf cloud, except for the potential for strong winds are not as dangerous as wall clouds... where tornadoes form, especially if the wall cloud is showing signs of rotation. Watch out. Shelf clouds are much more dramatic, in my opinion.

I love this shot you captured of this determined little tree. I love the lakes. This tree will be a nice spot to picnic after many years.

Thanks for the visit to my cloud post and your comments. I like the way your picture focuses on the tree and the water and sky in the background serve to frame it. - Margy
