Battleship Texas If you have kids, and even if you don't, I highly recommend going here if you are in the Houston area. They pretty much let you explore most of the ship on your own. The hubby and I even climbed around on areas that would most likely be off limits if there were a sign. We got to play with the big guns and shoot each other. Nearby is the San Jacinto Monument which is also worth a visit.
