Hubby has always talked about getting his pilot license. So, for his 30th birthday I decided to give into my fears and buy him discovery flight lessons. Of course, I had to buy myself a passenger ticket as well. We can't let the husband have all the fun.
The airplane is a 1980 Piper Warrior. The company is Just Fly and is based out of Hooks Airport. I highly recommend them for discovery flights and have heard good things about their pilot license program. Our instructor was great and we would definitely go back.
A bonus, because our house is in the flight path for the airport we were able to get some nice aerial photos.
