What is it? (Now Odd Shot Monday)

Last week's picture was part of a banana tree. I had never seen a banana tree before, and didn't realize how interesting they were. This little thing hangs from bushel of bananas. I really don't know what it is called or the purpose of it, so if you know please share :)

This weeks what is it...

Thanks for visiting my site. I am not a photographer, but I have lots of photographs on my site.

Your picture is of ripe juicy canteloupe.

Lovely odd shot! I have to guess at something, so I'll try for cubes of melon. Or maybe not!

Interesting odd shot -- glad you joined us. . . I have guessed a time r two at your previous posts of what is it. . .

I think if it isn't cut up cantelope, then some kind of squash or pumpkin.

Your What Is It? will fit in perfectly with our Odd Shots. I've seen some of them. But this one is way too easy--even if it is an odd shot.

I'll go add yo to the blogroll.

Its cantaloupe. What was the one a few weeks back? You never gave an answer to that one.
