Sky Watch Friday

I thought I would be all early this week, but it appears as if 53 other people were early too. I just can't keep up with you guys :) Since I will be in an area where there is no internet for the weekend, this is my last post until Monday, sorry about that. Hope everyone has a happy 4th of July. I know most of you aren't from the US so have a happy weekend.

We decided to drive from New York City to Nantasket, Ma at 11pm having heard that it only takes 3 hours to get from point A to point B. Five and a half hours later we finally made it to Nantasket just in time to watch the sun rise. Did I ever mention how much I love my tripod, I couldn't have gotten these pictures without it.

For more sky watch photos, or to add some of your own, head on over to Wiggers World.

Hi Kim,

I like these photos. I think they have the right colors and the sunset is really nice to see.

I think this is going to be the best Sky Watch Friday yet. The things I have seen are very encouraging and the photography is spot on.

I really admire your photography skills and your critical eye for composition, lighting and texture.

Those are absolutely beautiful, and I too am glad that you had your trusty tripod with you.

And had to chuckle when you mentioined that you checked in early but found 53 others in front of you... I checked in at just after midnight (westcoast time) and there were 186 others here...   WiggersWorld seems to really be catching on...

Sweet photos. Wish I had a tripod. I've thought about trying to catch a sunrise but I'm not a morning person.
